With this purse, I fussycut the design from one piece of fabric and appliqued it onto the rust suedecloth. This one was fun to make, but then all of them are fun to make. I never get tired of drawing designs and then sitting at the sewing machine and putting them all together.

- Beginning my quest to be a jewelry designer began in 1990 when I started beading gemstone necklaces. After taking a silversmithing class in 1991 at Spokane Art School in Washington, I began to incorporate silver pieces into the design of necklaces and other jewelry. Now I've expanded my creations to include wire art jewelry. My other love is quilting. Making memory quilts, wall hangings, and pillows are some of my specialties. The design process is the most interesting part of the whole piece. Including hand painting and beads makes for more interest. Although I have sewn most of my life, quilting is the most addictive. Making greeting cards is one of my newest "fun" crafts to do. I am, also, happy moving from one craft to another. This way I am never bored with what I do. Enjoy viewing the art...
